Identification and Analysis of Factors that Determine the Dynamic of Russian Stock Market

In the period of crisis in the national and world economy, there is a growth of urgency of analysis of the volatility degree of financial markets and the dynamics of indicators that characterize socio-economic development, as well as the influence of various factors on the financial markets. In this paper various approaches to determination of external and internal factors that affect the development of the Russian stock market and various views of foreign and local authors on this issue are presented. We offer the review if the most interesting hypotheses, articles and results of the research of the influence of various macro-factors in the stock market. An attempt was made to identify and analyze the factors that affect the Russian stock market. A regression model is constructed, and it includes 4 macro-factor sections: • General economic conditions; • Money-credit policy; • Price; • International activity. This model will give the opportunity to identify the relations and conduct the analysis, as well as to state within the study which factors have the strongest impact on the RTS index.
