Improvement of the Data Quality Management Process in the Company

Master's dissertation is devoted to the development of proposals to improve the process of quality management of data, which can be applied in practice by companies responsible for providing clients with correct analytical data. In the framework of the study, at the first stage, international and Russian standards for data quality management were analyzed and the main directions for the development of proposals were identified: comparison of the data quality management process based on the reference model of the ISO 8000 standard, consideration of data quality metrics, analysis of IT components for automation of data quality management process. The second stage of the work is devoted to assessing the level of maturity of the current process of managing the quality of data, considering sources of problems based on simulation models, existing metrics for assessing the quality of the process data and IT tools in the company. In the third stage, proposals were developed to improve the process of data quality management: the adaptation of the data quality management process based on the reference model of the ISO 8000 standard, development of additional metrics to assess the quality of data, as well as the choice of a software component for automating the process by solving the multicriteria problem using the MAI method.
