2018
Virtual reality technologies, which include 360-degree video or in other words panoramic video, help us to approach the new side of the tasks from different areas, such as education, science, art, entertainment. 360-degree video is the most affordable technology for customers. This is achieved by the mass expansion of mobile devices, as well as the low cost of virtual reality glasses, which are necessary for 360-degree video playback.

However, 360-degree video is a technology that is highly dependent on the network bandwidth through which this video is transmitted. Nevertheless, if the throughput channel is not enough, it has degrades the user perceived result due to delays and unstable video playback.

In this paper a solution for dynamic 360-degree video streaming, which can significantly reduce the require bandwidth is offered. This solution is based on the usage of different formats of 360-degree video and the ability to determine the direction of user’s view.

The results of testing the developed system showed an acceptable amount of decreasing of the necessary channel for video streaming.
