Thesis paper is focused on assessing an influence of information technologies (IT) on a passenger car transportation. Modern information technologies are able to solve a wide range of transportation problems for both private companies and government. The object of research is modern information technologies and the subject - an improvement of passenger transportation by an implementation of IT. The goal of the paper is an evaluation of an influence of the effectiveness of an implementation of information technologies on a passenger car transportation. During the work the structure of passenger transport and its problems were analyzed, information technologies and devices used on a transport were reviewed, an operation of "A2B.ru" Ltd. was analyzed, SWOT-analysis was carried out, the corporate information system (CIS) "iTransfers" implemented in the company and its drawbacks were analyzed, and calculation of profitability with payback period of implemented CIS "iTransfers" was done. When carrying out the research several improvements of implemented IS were proposed with a rationale for an improvement of an economical effectiveness of a company after an upgrade of CIS.
