This study examines congruence of work values of actual and potential industrial employees in order to create an EVP (employer value proposition). The research suggests an approach to developing an EVP by integrating the concept of person-environment fit and EVP model called “ROW”. Based on the assumption that the current and potential employees’ profiles are consistent with each other, the objective person-environment fit is evaluated via the work value criteria. Afterwards, the value choices of both actual and potential employees are compared. To determine the typical EVP characteristics of the metallurgy enterprise, we conducted the content analysis of industrial organizations’ Web sites. Eventually, based on identified similarities and differences between work values of actual and potential employees and on key industrial organizations’ EVP features, the recommendations for improving the EVP and attractiveness of the industrial enterprise for young employees were developed.
