The aim of the framework of the thesis is to analyze the methods of choosing a logistics intermediary and their impact on the efficiency of the supply chain. The object is the transport - expeditionary company. The subject of the study is the methods of choosing an intermediary in the organization of multimodal transport. Often the issue of choosing a carrier, as well as how it influences the results of activities, is not taken into account by specialists, in connection with this the selected topic is actual. The main problem that can arise when considering alternatives is not complete initial information on the transport services market. It is for this reason that in most cases the use of complex methods of selecting a intermediary seems rather difficult. The first chapter carries theoretical information on intermediation in transport markets. Much attention is paid to the forms of intermediation and the role of the operator in multimodal transport. In the second chapter, based on an extensive list of literature sources, as well as on the analysis, the author outlines the main methods of choosing a logistics intermediary. The algorithm and criteria for choosing a logistics intermediary are considered. The third chapter is devoted to choosing an intermediary in the organization of a transport and technological scheme in the direction of Togliatti-Oran. The basic terms of the contract are considered, and the justification of the chosen transport and technological scheme is stated. The conclusion summarizes the work done and draws conclusions on identifying the merits and demerits of a transport - technological scheme in terms of costs. The volume of the graduate work is 89 pages, 12 tables, 13 drawings and 3 applications. For writing, 53 sources were used.
