Making a Predicting Model for Financial Indicators of Massive Open Online Courses on Coursera by the Case of NRU HSE MOOCs

In the last few years researchers’ interest in the latest tendencies and developments in creating e-learning technologies, in particular the Massive Open Online Courses (MOOC), has increased significantly. Despite the active discussions about e-learning, in particular MOOCs, today there are not so many researches studying these educational trends in Russia. This may be caused be the relatively recent emergence and popularization of MOOCs and the recent development of research communities studying MOOCs. In this paper, an attempt is made to analyze the data on the MOOC on the leading platform of online education - Coursera and develop an algorithm that allows predicting financial indicators in advance, in this case the average inflow of payments for certificates of the MOOK.
