Development of Rules for Effective Detection of Account Data Leakage in the Banking Sector

The purpose of this work is the development of an algorithm capable of detecting the leakage of cardholder data with a minimum error. In the theoretical part, the features and properties of these payment cards and the requirements of the PCI DSS standard for their protection were determined. The practical part consists of the program development of the stand, where it is possible to set optimal parameters for different types of leaks in payment card data and to investigate the work of the triggered rules. The work evaluates the effectiveness of various combinations of rules for detecting the leakage of payment card data and gives recommendations on the use of the algorithm.
