The relevance of the theme of the work is conditioned by the fact that nowadays more and more companies are trying to efficiently operate the supply chains. Effective and rational management of supply chains is one way to improve the overall productivity and effectiveness of the company. Inventory management is an important part of the organization's logistics system, which is a fairly important department of the company's operating unit. The relevance of the topic for LLC "Z" is reinforced by the growing interest of the company's management in the formation of the organization and the maintenance of a stable low level of late goods at the points of sale. In this paper, the process of implementation of the project for the inventory management of LLC " Z" will be investigated. This project is one of the steps to the formation of an effective system for managing business processes of an enterprise.
