Risk management lies on the core of any company working in the constantly changing

modern world. In regard to the companies operating on the basis of container terminal that topic might become extremely acute for many reasons. The main goal of this study is to identify and quantify the main risks for the container terminal operators, and furthermore to create a framework for future actions to prevent or to prompt these risks. The research provides new results by examining the data on business activities of the port enterprises, that was represented by these enterprises and the government. In addition, the key feature of this study is the implementation of the risk simulation modelling by means of Anylogic software as a risk management tool. The anticipated result of this project is not only the list of risks with detailed description, but also a map of actions that decisionmakers could use for the future business development.
