Cities Economic Development in Terms of Housing Policy

To date, all levels of government will provide the housing sector, and this means a significant impact on the economic development of the city. In this regard, the study of research is the identification of the interrelation between the factors of housing construction, economic and socio-demographic development of the city, in order to manage local governments in the proper order in the city development policy. Based on the results of examining the work of domestic and foreign authors on this issue, the hypothesis of a study was formulated that the economic development of the city and housing construction is interrelated. To verify it, the research methodology was published and a study was conducted to identify and assess the relationship between the economic development of cities and the dynamics of housing construction in it. In addition, the study carried out a comparative analysis of the existing policy of transformation of urban areas and socio-economic policies in Perm and cities of similar developmental level, which confirmed the practical role of the hypothesis put forward. At the next stage of the analysis, in accordance with the developed methodology, an analysis was made of the collected results of the panel statistics arrays of the 50 largest cities of Russia for the period from 1997 to 2016. The analysis was carried out by the first-difference method using Stata programs. The analysis showed that the development of the housing sector does have some impact on the economic development of the city, although the contribution is exaggerated. These findings should be implemented in strategies for the development of cities and plows.
