Currently we can observe the using of political images in symbolic politics of modern states. Russian Federation and Azerbaijan Republic is one of the most controversial cases of this kind of use, because both have different formats, but similar initiate data. For this reason, we develop our research in this area to identify key points of this diversity. The main goal of this research is to find the factors causing differences in use of images of presidents in the Russian Federation and the Azerbaijan Republic. The study reveal not only determining factors, but current political causes of these factors. This research will contain case-study and cross-contemporary analysis based on political memory and symbolic politics concepts.
