Governmental and Non-Governmental Regulation of the Museums in the Russian Federation

In this paper, we analyze the factors that influence the public-state regulation of the museum sphere. In the first chapter of the work, the basic concepts that will be used in the study are operationalized. In the second chapter, a neo-institutional approach to the cultural sphere is analyzed. In the third chapter, attention is paid to the consideration of symbolic and rational approaches to cultural policy. In the empirical part of the work, models are analyzed, the formation of cultural policy in the Russian Federation.
