Innovation Processes Model Transformation in Pharmaceutical Industry on the Case of AstraZeneca Company

Dramatic R&D productivity decrease has been challenging the pharmaceutical industry during last 15 years. It forced the business to review the actual innovation processes model to optimize costs of invention. The restructuring was based on scientific partnership network expansion and focus switch to commerce activities. This paper is dedicated to the research of the current transformation of the related to new original drugs processes. Also the author is proposing the further pharmaceutical companies business model development and producing recommendations to the one of the key players in the market - AstraZeneca company.
