The Impact of the Candidate Experience on the Perception of the Company

Currently, in the face of increasing competition and in the era of digital technology development, top managers of companies are forced to constantly transform and improve HR-functions. The tendency of rethinking of HR practices is evident in companies around the world. Also, when forming HR-functions, the needs of the business come to the fore, but the employees themselves and their interests. The concept of the candidate's path is gaining popularity, allowing to evaluate the thoughts, feelings and actions of job seekers in the process of employment. Master's dissertation is devoted to the study of the candidate's experience. The purpose of the master's dissertation was to determine the degree of influence of the candidate's experience on the perceived reputation of the company, as well as to identify the factors that determine the nature of this experience. At the beginning of the work, theoretical aspects of company perception and attributes determining the company's attractiveness for candidates were considered. In the second part of the work, on the basis of the collected data, conclusions and practical recommendations were formulated for companies to improve the process of recruiting and managing the experience of candidates. To achieve this goal, a quantitative study was conducted, data collection was carried out using a survey. To analyze the data obtained as a result of the survey, statistical methods were used: frequency analysis, linear regression and regression model. As a result of the analysis of the data, a sample candidate path was compiled in the city of Moscow and the main contact points determining the nature of the experiment were determined. The practical significance of the master's thesis is that the results of the research will make it possible to formulate recommendations for companies located in the city of Moscow on improving the recruitment and selection process and managing the candidate's experience.
