Projects, initiated by employees, are becoming an integral part of project management development in an international company. Such projects not only increase the maturity level of project management in the company but also are a unique, self-managing structure, able to involve all the members of the company in the process of constant improvement. However, there is a problem of managing such process because most projects are not top-down initiated. Projects could be initiated by any employee and they could be not in connection with the main business area of the company. Particularly, the success of the project and of the program overall depends on the will of employees to improve. During the research employees` motivation was defined the main driver of CIP, therefore, the recommendations of increasing motivation based on intrinsic motivation theory and goal-setting theory were developed. All the recommendations were successfully implemented into practice within Bosch.
