Improvement of Personnel Engagement Level in Hotels of Different Star Category, Belonging to the Accor chain

The master's thesis raises the problem of staff involvement, as well as similarities and differences in the level of personnel engagement in hotels of different star category. The purpose of this work is to identify factors that affect the level of personnel engagement in hotels of different levels of different star category. The object of the study was hotel complex Accor Combo Mercure-ibis-Adagio, which has hotels of different star category, and has problems with the personnel engagement and maintaining the quality of the level of service. The results will be obtained by the analysis of hotel documentation; the semi-structured interviews with the hotel staff and the survey of the staff hotels of different star categor. According to the results of the study, there were no statistically significant differences in the level of personnel engagement in hotels of different star category. However important factors were identified that had the greatest impact on the level of involvement in hotels of different star level: incentive and reward system, work activity, career and oportunities. As a result, recommendations were developed to improve the human resources management system of the hotel complex in order to increase the level of personnel engagement and to improve the performance of the organization.
