Project company managers are interested in the process of training personnel in project management to increase the competitiveness of companies and increase the value of business. Companies train their employees by applying project management standards, or hire certified project managers, believing that this fact can completely solve the problem with increasing the effectiveness of project management. Existing standards, above all, a Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK Guide). - 5th edition of PMI and ICB-IPMA Competence Baseline Version 3.0 (in the national version of NTK 3.0), have fundamental and methodological nature and do not allow to solve the above-mentioned tasks quickly and efficiently. In addition, a significant lack of these standards is their low adaptability to the rapidly changing competitive environment and market challenges. In this connection, the question becomes especially topical: what methods of increasing the competence of the company's employees in the field of project management should be used in addition to hiring certified project managers that will contribute to building the organizational competence of the company as a whole. A simple hiring of project managers who have received certification is a necessary condition, but not enough. Thus, in this thesis the following tasks are solved: - compare on the basis of literature existing approaches to the definition and development of the competence of project managers and project team members; -develop and conduct a questionnaire survey to identify key methods for developing organizational competence in the company; -define key methods of building organizational competence of the company -provide practice advice for improving the process of developing the organizational competence of the company in project management.
