The Specifics of the Russian IT Industry Development Due to External Environment Factors

External environment has a significant influence on company’s operation, therefore, it is important to be aware of the most influencing environment factors in order to be ready to adapt and react. A fast and relevant reaction to these changes might become a crucial competitive advantage especially in IT business because of its’ fast development and high competition. Thus, any company needs to have a well-structured understanding of factors that have a significant influence on the whole business and the particular organization. This paper’s goal is to find out what environment factors play the most important role in researched companies operation, how they perceive selected factors and perform due to these factors. The research will be based on seven Russian IT companies: «Digital Design», «Raidix», «DocsVision», «Mail.ru Group», «IT Manufacture», «Pixel» and «Rostelecom». A survey and structured interview will be used as the main research methods to analyze respondents’ point of view on the issue and opinions about the most significant and noteworthy factors in IT industry since January, 2014. Even though this paper will be proposed to the particular companies, main frameworks used in the project can be applied in similar industries.
