Development of Methods for Improving the Routes Cargo Transportation by the Example of the Trading Company "Volvo Trucks"

Theme of the final qualifying work: "Improvement of the methods of cargo transportation using the example of the Volvo Trucks trading company" The volume of the final qualifying work is 97 pages, 23 figures, 33 tables. 32 sources were used to write the work. Graduation qualification work consists of an introduction, three chapters, conclusion, a list of literature and applications. In the introduction, the urgency of the problem is substantiated, the object, the subject, the goal is set, the main tasks are formulated, the theoretical and practical significance of the problem is revealed. In the first chapter, the analysis of the economic environment of the enterprise, commercial, financial, economic and logistic activities was carried out, a number of problems in the logistics field existing in the company were defined with reference to the theme of the work. The second chapter describes the transport service and how it is applied in various companies, the characteristics of multimodal transport and their importance in the implementation of logistics activities. In the same way, transportations by different modes of transport are compared. In the third chapter, an algorithm was developed to optimize the process of transporting goods of the company and the task of "make or buy" was solved, and the economic efficiency of the application of this algorithm was evaluated. It was also suggested the use of alternative modes of transport for transportation. In conclusion, the main conclusions and recommendations on the use of research results produced in the framework of this paper are formulated.
