This investigation is dedicated to the relation between the critical philosophy of I. Kant and the project of overcoming of metaphysics of M. Heidegger. In the paper author demonstrates that the basis of Kantian critical project is the procedure of demarcation between «condition» and «conditioned». This difference is the condition of possibility of philosophy. From this leading difference, which differs the First and the Last, unfolds the time as such. Thus Kant results in reflexion of the historicity of philosophy («Philosophical History»). This historical enterprise answers on the question of the human’s essence («What is the human?») and thereby determinates its fate or the world as such (the plentitude of time). But the possibility of determination, which has its roots in the «Ground of Freedom» («Critique of Judgement»), can not be conceived by the way of building of philosophical systematics. The latter Kant considered insufficient, but still the only possible approach to answer the question «What is the human?». Heidegger continues the line of Kant by his reflection on the «Ground of Freedom» and the possibility to attribute any «what» and «is» to «the human». In order to do that he radically transforms that difference and makes a transition from demarcation of the infinite region of actual existing (by means of the regions of «condition» and «conditioned») to 1) «what is» this possibility of the difference and 2) how the latter presets the time (the ontological difference, the being, the time, the openness). This turn means the ending of philosophy as the stated doctrine. The only thing that should be saved is its pure attention (the First Beginning); the latter, being saved in such way, turns to the other way (the Other Beginning). Key words: Kant, Heidegger, critics, difference, demarcation, metaphysics, being, time, ground (Grund), judgement.
