Improving of E-Government Tools in St. Petersburg

The improvement of e-government tools is an important issue in the framework public administration processes. The paper examines theoretical aspects of e-government concept and its impact on the interaction of the state and society and other stakeholders, as well as the tools at the disposal of state and municipal authorities and citizens. The empirical part of the study is devoted to the analysis of the main indicators of the portal «Our St. Petersburg» - an instrument that has been functioning for more than five years. Based on the results of the work, recommendations for the relevant Committee of St. Petersburg aimed at improving the quality of the site were formed.
