The Role of Group Supervision in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy The research is devoted to questions of group supervision in psychoanalytic psychotherapy. Relevance is due to the fact that the supervisory authority is now beginning to occupy an increasingly important place as a special type of practice, allowing to implement control (expert), educational (developmental), supportive (advisory) functions. In supervisory processes, the material for counseling is mainly: 1) problems of self-understanding and self-perception, 2) professional actions and theoretical knowledge (awareness of theoretical, practical and personal attitudes and characteristics that determine the position of the therapist in professional activity, in connection with which use or do not use certain approaches, theoretical and methodological); 3) various aspects of relationships with other people (in the first place, with participants in the supervision itself); 4) organizational and formal issues of psychotherapeutic practice; 5) the relationship itself with the patient. The research reveals the different concepts of group supervision, actualizes and clarifies goals, tasks, conditions of group supervision, its possible forms and directions. The author describes the possibilities of conducting group supervision in the Balint groups, the use of matrix concepts, reverie and intertwining thoughts, which are new, little used in the practice of domestic supervision, directions. The disclosed models allow using them in the practice of group supervision, thereby increasing the effectiveness of supervisory work in the psychoanalytic concept. In the work, as key aspects in supervisory groups, transfer, countertransference, parallel processes are defined, the possibilities of their use in the practical activity of supervision are described, which allows using the work in the practice of conducting supervisory groups.
