Developing of Urban Transportation Demand Management Tools: Saint-Petersburg Case

The work issues an urban traffic congestion problem and a number of congestion relief demand management tools covering its practices in large cities. As an empirical part of the work author analyzes Saint-Petersburg’s transportation system, its congestion and potential transportation demand management tools for the city to benefit from. As a conclusion of the work there are a number of recommendations for Saint-Petersburg’ authorities on the city’s traffic congestion relief policy.
