This paper is devoted to determining the importance of flexible forms of employment for students in the labor market. As part of this study, aspects of the application of flexible forms of employment, Russian and international experience, as well as the studied connection of modern employment of students were considered. In addition, there was conducted an own research, by interviewing students at the Higher School of Economics in St. Petersburg, aimed at studying the impact of precarious work on students. According to the survey, it was found that almost all working students use flexible forms of employment. Most of them are going to have non-standard employment in the future. Also, a deep interview was conducted to determine the relationship of employers to students as potential employees. As respondents, two companies were selected: from the sphere of ticket operators and event-management. Based on the data obtained as a result of the analysis and calculation of the coefficients, we can make a conclusion about impact of flexible forms on the students employment.
