Abstract

In the modern world, business process improvement (BPI) plays a significant role in the increase of business efficiency and competitiveness, and in minimizing the root causes of process or system problems. The need to improve their business processes on a regular basis as a method of harmonizing methods with changing business requirements was recognized in politicization.

This project-analytical work is aimed to analyse the business processes of the company "Spicia" and to identify their problematic aspects, as well as to develop key recommendations for the optimization of these business processes. During this work the following research methods were applied: analysis of literature sources and documents, observation, interviews with company employees, customer surveys and analysis of company statistical data. To model the company's business processes, the IDEF0 standard was adopted.
