Improvement of Warehouse Processes by the example of the Retail Company Elementaree

The theme of the thesis is "Improvement of cargo handling processes by the example of the retail company Elementaree". The object of research is the retail company Elementaree. The subject of the study is the process of cargo handling in the warehouse. The work is executed on 67 pages, contains 14 figures, 13 tables, 7 applications, 17 literary sources. The thesis includes the introduction, 3 chapters and the final conclusion. In the introduction, the relevance of the topic is grounded, the goal of writing a thesis project is set, the object and subject of research, tasks are determined. The first chapter contains a description of the focus company. First of all, the place in the market was considered, then the analysis of the financial and economic and logistic activity of the research object was carried out. And, at last, the current process of warehouse cargo processing is considered and the basic problems are revealed. The second chapter presents theoretical questions in the framework of this topic, analyzed various specialized sources of literature on this issue, on the basis of which the algorithm of actions for the focus company is finally deduced. In the third chapter, the developed algorithm is implemented, and the economic benefits of implementing the proposed solutions are calculated using the model of strategic profit. In conclusion, the main conclusions reached in this paper are discussed, the evaluation of the accomplishment of the assigned tasks and goals is carried out.
