The Use of Bionics for Dealing With a Problem of Last Mile Delivery in Online Retail

This paper aims to study online retail logistics and the solution for one of the revealed problems in this field – last mile delivery. Thus, the study aims to apply such bionics instrument as ant colony optimization (ACO) algorithm to solve last mile delivery problem in online retail. Based on the obtained algorithm calculations, as well as on comparison of the classic and modified algorithm models, practical recommendations for the use of this instrument are developed and the framework to raise the efficiency of last mile delivery is provided.
