The Concept of Dionysianism in Philosophy of Vyacheslav Ivanov

In this graduation qualification work we are talking about the religious phenomenon of Dionysianism - the religious cult of the god Dionysus in ancient Greece. The cult of Dionysus was analyzed in detail and specifically interpreted by the Russian poet-symbolist and philosopher of the Silver Age - Vyacheslav Ivanov in two major religious works: "The Hellenic religion of the suffering god" (1904) and "Dionysus and predionysianism" (1923). This paper consists of an introduction, six chapters and a conclusion, in which we analyzed the path of Dionysius from myth to concept in the philosophy of Vyacheslav Ivanov. The purpose of this work is to critically analyze the concept of Dionysianism in the philosophy of Vyacheslav Ivanov.
