Logistic Service Management in E-Commerce

Any enterprise operating in market conditions needs to develop strategic approaches to the formation of its competitive advantages. One of the tools for gaining a competitive advantage is the correct management of the logistics service, which allows to enhance the company's positive image and create the basis for continued sustainable revenue growth through the attraction of new consumers and retention of existing ones. Maintaining the necessary quality of logistics services requires a combination of a correct understanding the needs of consumers with the computation of the company's ability to provide the required level of customer service in terms of costs and the existing logistics infrastructure. The study is aimed at developing and implementing a procedure for logistics service management in the field of E-commerce in the operation of a trading company with the aim of reducing the volume of missed sales and expanding the client base by improving the range of the provided logistics services and their quality with the optimum costs level. Towards this end, the work deals with the definition of a logistics service; the main management functions within the framework of an approach to the formation of a logistics service, which includes the development of a list of indicators for assessing the quality of the provided logistics services; and also, identify necessary services for consumers in the field of E-commerce, the provision of which will increase the level of logistics services in the trading company.
