Improvement of the System of Information and Communication Interaction between Executive Authorities and Small Business in St. Petersburg

The modern technologies, software, gadgets and Internet have become recently an integral part of our life. These trends have also affected the government. The government tries to apply new technologies and modern means of communication in all governmental levels. These instruments help to exchange the information between government and population, business rapidly. Assessment of the system of interaction between the government and small business of St. Petersburg in the Internet is the core of this work. The goal of this paper is assessment of current system of information and communication interaction between executive authorities and small business entities of St. Petersburg on the Internet and suggesting recommendations for improving this system. The assessment is based on web-content analysis and questioning of business representatives, which resulted in the replies of 381 respondents. Аs a result, recommendations were proposed for improving the organizational issues of interaction between business and the government on the Internet, as well as recommendations for improving the content and design of government websites.
