The Program for Visual Picture Optimization by Series of Sequential Parameters Selection

This paper is dedicated to the multidimensional choice decomposition and optimization for solving image color parameters tweaking task. Existing solutions providing involving individual changes in color parameters or use of predefined image filters. There are number of downsides of these approaches. Firstly, human needs to estimate intermediate and results. That is also so-called human-in-the-loop approach. And secondly, the number of comparisons is in the direct dependency from parameters count. The current work discusses possible approaches of image colors setting, that can reduce the cognitive load on the human. The development object is a Python program, which provides the ability to tweak image color parameters through a series of one-dimensional selection tasks. It is designed to reduce the cognitive load on the human in comparison with photo editing tools providing separate parameters tweaking, and to improve the quality of the resulting image as compared to the photo filters processing. The results of processing by the proposed method are given in the work. Technical documentation for the software product has been developed. The paper contains 63 pages, 3 chapters, 4 tables, 25 figures, 5 schemes, 22 sources, 4 applications.
