This final academic project is devoted to the development of a set of measures to improve the efficiency of the procurement process in the hotel chain. In modern conditions of the active competition (especially in the service sector) hotel chains are aimed to offer guests the most suitable rates for accommodation, while keeping the quality of service. In the pricing process, the most important element is the assessment and optimization of hotel costs. These costs include the costs for procurement. It is important to emphasize that within this group of costs, the achievement of savings depends not so much on the reduction of requirements for the quality of the products, but on the optimization of procurement procedures and the dispersion of an effective supply system. In recent years, the attention of managers of lodging industry to procurement as a significant cost - center of the hotel chain, determines the topicality of this project. As part of the work the approach to the reorganization of the procurement process in the hotel chain in order to the procurement more efficient was developed, using the introduction of electronic trading platform and creating the information system support for the procurement process. It is also explained in the project how the selection of electronic trading platform for concrete hotel chain was made, how the segmentation of procured nomenclature by the level of procurement centralization was held. The requirements for information solution to support the supply process was installed and the process changes caused by the implementation of the proposed solutions are described. The economic effect of the proposed changes is mainly related to the reduction of the cost of such services by optimizing the purchase prices for rash materials and other cost items.
