This paper presents the research of open Jackson networks. The main purpose is to analyze performance measures of Jackson networks. Performance measures such as the maximum throughput, the average time spent in the queue, the average number of losses are calculated. Analytical and computational methods are considered to analyze the network. The python-based program is developed to simulate open Jackson network. The results of modelling are used to optimize the network configuration.
