Object - policies aimed at the formation of entrepreneurial ecosystems in the Russian Federation and OECD countries, as well as approaches to their assessment The subject - similarities and differences in approaches to the formation and assessment of entrepreneurial ecosystems, as well as to the peculiarities of their implementation in the countries of the Russian Federation and OECD The purpose of this work is to identify similarities and differences in approaches to the formation and assessment of entrepreneurial ecosystems and the development of regional profiles to demonstrate problem zones in such ecosystems in the countries of Russian Federation and OECD. The research was carried out by the method of analysis of scientific literature, articles and statistical resources. The method of desk research and comparative analysis was also used. The paper suggests an analysis of the level of entrepreneurship development in 16 subjects of the Russian Federation. Also, according to the regions, profiles are presented showing the current level of support infrastructures. This work will have a direct practical application because it’s result will demonstrate the current level of Russian entrepreneurial ecosystems development. Thus, this work can be useful for the legal framework of the Russian Federation in the field of entrepreneurship.
