Improvement of the Transportation Logistics on the Example of an Oil Company

It is difficult to overestimate the importance of effective internal logistics. This also applies to the oil and gas industry. First of all, optimized internal logistics is a significant competitive advantage of the company. The purpose of this work is to formulate analytically and economically sound recommendations for improving the logistics of transportation using an example of the oil and gas company "LUKOIL - TRANS". The object of the "LUKOIL - TRANS" company's object "A". The subject of the research: the process of transportation of the product and its transshipment in the object "A". The graduate thesis consists of the following elements: introduction, three informatory chapters, conclusion, list of references (38 titles), 8 annexes. The main text of the work is presented on 76 pages, including 17 tables and 20 figures. The first Chapter provides a financial analysis of the company "LUKOIL-TRANS", and describes its logistics activities. Macro-environment, competitive environment and internal environment are evaluated. The second Chapter analyzes the existing possible ways of transportation of liquid cargo on the Russian market, and also determines the optimal type of transportation. The third Chapter is devoted to the formation of possible alternatives of optimizing and improving the efficiency of internal logistics of bulk cargoes for the object of study. In addition, a proposal is made to improve the organizational structure of the studied enterprise in terms of improving its logistics location. A meaningful result of the Chapter is the choice of the most appropriate alternative and its economic assessment.
