Algebraic Modelling of Charge Motion Under Magneto-Dimensional Resonance
The motion of a spinless charged particle in a thin layer located in a homogeneous magnetic field is considered. For the case of coincidence of the cyclotron frequency and the frequency of transverse oscillations the influence of small perturbations is investigated. The appearance of a longitudinal geometric current in a curved layer is shown. After addition a weak longitudinal electric field there emerges a Hall current. The interaction of induced currents is studied. An example of the shape of a layer is shown where the the Hall effect is suppressed by geometric currents. Also a layer is given where the current is induced in the direction of the applied electric field.
