Improvement of Logistics Business Processes by the example of the Wholesale Company BASF

This final qualifying work deals with the problem of improving the logistics business processes of the wholesale company when making significant changes to the current logistics network, as well as the introduction of a new it system. The purpose of the work will be the development and implementation of the procedure for improving logistics business processes when deciding on the transition to outsourcing of logistics services, followed by the introduction of information integration between the partners of the CPU. The object is the logistics system of the company "BASF". Subject-improvement of logistics business processes of the company. In this work, we used General scientific theoretical methods: the study and analysis of literature and documents; analysis of experimental material, generalization, methods of structural and system analysis. During the strategic analysis, such methods as PEST analysis, competitor analysis, analysis of current logistics business processes "as is" and others were used. As a result, a procedure for improving logistics business processes based on the maturity assessment model and subsequent reengineering was developed, and the economic efficiency of the project was evaluated.
