The Impact Assessment of High-speed Railways on Business Development in Russia

Development of new ways of transportation is an essential world’s tendency especially in the era of globalization and regionalization. Almost all developed countries have implemented high- speed rail lines (HSR) into their transportation systems and Russia is on the path of its development. The main goal of this research is to estimate how HSR will infleunce on business environment in Russia and to determine economic advantages of the project through historical perspective. In the present study analogues of foreign HSR and the Silk Road Economic Belt project are considered.
