Logistics Service Quality Improvement (a Case Study of "Web Logistics")

The company "Web Logistics" (service Deliver) was established in 2015, is online service of cargo shipping. One of the ways to increase and ensure the company's competitiveness for a long time is to improve logistics service quality, which is different from price competition. The relevance of this work can be explained by the size of the market of forwarding services, the presence of high competition on it at the present time, as well as the speed of development of this market and the leading position of forwarders as the main intermediaries. Thus, the importance and necessity of improving the quality of the logistics service, the development of evaluation mechanisms, highlighting the factors that have the greatest impact on the quality of logistics services, and identifying activities that would help to avoid negative impacts become apparent. The goal of the final qualifying work is to develop a methodology for improving (improving) the quality of the company's logistics service. The following tasks were defined: 1. Analysis of external, internal environment and logistics activities of "Web Logistics" 2. Analysis and generalization of theoretical developments of domestic and foreign scientists on the problem of improving the quality of logistics services 3. Analysis of logistics service quality indicators 4. Development of an approach for the operation of an online service for road freight transport with a consolidated cargo 5. Changing the organizational structure of management and finalizing the information system of "Web Logistics" 6. Estimation of economic efficiency of the adopted decision As a result, a methodology was developed for working with composite cargoes, calculated indicators for determining the price, as well as a solution for the optimal loading of the vehicle.
