Final Grade: 8

Year of Graduation: 2018

This final qualifying work is devoted to the development and testing of an integral indicator of the sustainable development of pharmaceutical companies. The problem of sustainability could be considered as one of the most important; since it has a significant impact on making strategic decisions. During the work, I took a close look at methods aimed at creating and maintaining sustainable development of companies. The analysis and systematization of accounting and financial models for assessing the growth of companies is carried out. The main factors influencing the development of companies are determined. Based on the results of the construction of the integral indicator, it was revealed that the situation in the pharmaceutical industry can be characterized as unstable, which certainly has a significant impact on the financial and economic activities of companies. However, the changes in the indicator from year to year were more influenced by factors directly related to the company's activities. In spite of this, the integral indicator can serve as a good assistant for identifying external factors that have the greatest impact on the successful operation of the corporations, and making good management decisions aimed to improve the company's position in the industry and increasing competitiveness.
