Event Management of Public Libraries
2018
Modern public libraries are forced to look for new ways and formats to attract users because of changing environmental conditions. One of the main such formats is event-based activity.

Despite the active organization of events in public libraries, at the moment there are only a small number of studies on this topic. Complex programs to promote public libraries are not being developed.

In this regard, the purpose of this work is to develop a system for managing the event activity of public libraries.

As a result, a typology of public libraries was compiled from their event activities, based on the conducted empirical research. Models of interaction of libraries with stakeholders were built for each type of library and recommendations were made on the development of public libraries' activities and user involvement.
