Managing of the Educational Activities Organization Models in Cultural and Leisure Institutions

The purpose of this paper is to model the educational activities organization in cultural and leisure institutions and to identify the role of creative spaces and cultural and leisure institutions as local forms of the additional and informal education infrastructure in the educational environment of St. Petersburg. In the study there were set the following tasks: to identify new cultural and educational formats and features of their realization in cultural and leisure institutions and creative spaces; to analyze and model the ways of organizing the cultural and leisure institutions’ activities in the sphere of non-formal education and enlightenment; to give recommendations for the educational component development of the cultural and leisure institutions’ activities. The problem of the effective educational practices’ modeling organization in cultural and leisure institutions is dictated by the social order to create conditions for the development of additional and informal education which determines the actuality and novelty of this paper. There were used the methods of content analysis of the creative spaces and cultural and leisure institutions’ official sites and the expert interviews with the cultural and leisure institutions’ representatives. The results of this paper may be interesting for creative entrepreneurs, employees of the cultural and leisure sphere, the city administration, investors, etc. The analysis demonstrated that cultural and leisure institutions are promising sites for additional and non-formal education.
