Improving the Efficiency of the Logistics Network Using Simulation

The main goal of this research is sudying methodological aspects of the use of simulation tools, the theory of limitations, its tools and their application with the purpose of improving the logistics system and solving specific problems in the company in question, as well as analyzing the impact of decisions made on the efficiency of the company as a whole. The introduction presents a general description of the research: the relevance of the topic is substantiated, the goal and tasks are formulated, the investigated object and subject are characterized, the theoretical and methodological base of the research is determined. In the first chapter, the activities of Arsenyevo company, its organizational structure, the activities of the company's plant, the logistics strategy of the company, the problems in the logistics and production system of the company were identified. The second chapter examines the features of the logistics system of the production enterprise, the essence and methodology of improving production systems. In particular, the basic principles and tools of the constraint theory are described and the possibilities of the simulation simulation method that allow solving the problems of the logistics of production in the enterprise are considered. The third chapter explores the existing problem at the company's plant from the standpoint of constraint theory, imitates modeling as a tool for analyzing the problems of a manufacturing company. Recommendations were developed to improve the logistics system and calculations were carried out to confirm the effectiveness of the measures proposed to improve the production system. In conclusion, the main conclusions and results of the are presented.
