Investment in Human Capital

The theme of the research study is "Investing in human capital" within which investments into human capital and their role in shaping attitudes towards life in society were studied. The objectives of this work are to study the impact of the quality of human capital on the economic performance of developed and developing countries, identify factors that affect the accumulation of human capital at the macro level, study individual motives for investing in personal human capital, compare the goals of society and the individual when investing in human capital and study the relationship between investment in human capital and the level of happiness of the population of the country as one of the potential objectives of investment. The aim of the research is to study the relationship between investment in human capital at the macro level and satisfaction with life in the countries of the world. As a result of econometric analysis, it was possible to confirm the existence of a connection between the costs of medicine and the development of skills on the one hand, and happiness, on the other. The influence of other factors is not confirmed. The results obtained allow us to complete the study within the framework of this paper. It can be argued that the main goal of the research has been achieved - non-economic effects from investments in human capital have been revealed.
