Improvement of the Inventory Management System by the Example of a Manufacturing Company

The work on the topic "Improving the inventory management system based on the example of a production company" (TargetClothes LLC) consists of the introduction, analysis of the company's economic activities, the theoretical aspects of managing the finished product inventory of a manufacturing company, and proposals for improving inventory management and forecasting the demand for them, as well as conclusions. The purpose of this work is to develop proposals for improving the processes of inventory management of a manufacturing enterprise. To achieve this goal, the following tasks were set: 1) collection and analysis of information on the existing activities of the company in question; 2) identify logistics problems and identify key problems that will be addressed in this study; 3) analysis of scientific and practical research on inventory management and identification of the main methods used in enterprises; 4) choosing the approach to forecasting and inventory management that will be used to develop the model in this work; 5) determination of the economic result of the implementation of the developed solution. The relevance of this work is to reduce the costs of logistics in the face of competition from major foreign producers. This study is a self-completed graduate qualification work that contains a set of scientifically grounded organizational and economic proposals for the improvement of inventory management in LLC TargetClothes.
