Ways to Improve the Organization of Transport Logistics in Forwarding Company

This research is devoted to show the opportunities of reducing logistic costs in 3PL – provider with the preservation former logistic service and the advantages over the competitors. The Russian logistic is highly deep and even slight decrease of transportation tariffs plays a significant role. In this study will be considered the possibilities of cost reduction in the goods transportation from Europe to Moscow. Most logistic companies try to find the ways to improve their service at the same price or reducing the logistics costs. If this companies find such ways the will have the possibilities to stand out from the logistic market and to bring new customers therefore getting more revenue. As a forwarding company that should not have own transport vehicles park or not have enough vehicles to cover all the capacity of shipment searching the cheaper transport company on the particular route is not the temporary solution. Moreover, this try will not give the 3PL – provider a competitive advantage among the others similar forwarding companies. That is why there are some problems that have to be resolved.
