The study examines the problem of ensuring the quality of the purchased products in the process of procurement through electronic auctions and requests for quotations in public procurement in the Russian Federation, implemented through Federal Law number 44 "On the contract system in the procurement of goods, works, services to ensure state and municipal needs". At the same time, as a solution to the problem, the designation of a specific product model is proposed, which will improve the efficiency of procurement procedures and will not, in turn, lead to a reduction in competition. In addition, the public procurement market for photocopying and computer equipment in Moscow is being investigated in order to determine whether there is enough suppliers of this product to achieve effective competition. It should be noted that the results obtained can be useful to all Russian government customers who have ever faced the problem of ensuring the quality of purchased products through electronic auctions and requests for quotations, as well as to customers planning to purchase the products under consideration in the future.
