The concept of the Internet of Things, which implies the integration of numerous devices into network that gathers and analyses data about the environment, is developing rapidly as well as the industry of electric transport. In this work computer modeling of operation of an electric stations network for electric vehicles is discussed within the concept of the Internet of Things in order to find the solution of load balancing problem. Existing technologies and standards in the Internet of Things, related technological solutions in the field of smart cities and, in particular, networks of EV charging stations are reviewed and analyzed. Instruments and methods of simulation of transport networks and whole cities are studied. The requirements for the system being developed are formulated, the most appropriate instruments to solve the problem are chosen. The model of transport network and the technical solution that solves the problem and visualizes the results are implemented. A series of experiments are conducted to prove the efficiency of the implemented solution.
