The object of this senior thesis is the Hegselmann-Krause model of the dynamics of opinions on the circle. The main aim of the work is to study the properties of this model, to compare it with the properties of the model on the real line. The model of the dynamics of the opinions of Hegselmann-Krause on the straight line and on the circle was studied. The construction of the trajectories of opinions was carried out for deterministic problems of consensus with a different number of agents with a symmetric (asymmetric) confidence interval. An imitation model for stochastic problems is constructed. Programs that implement the construction of trajectories of the dynamics of opinions are developed in the programming languages Wolfram Mathematica and Python. This work consists of a table of contents, an introduction, 3 chapters, a conclusion, a list of references and an application. The total volume of this work is 33 pages.
